  Recently i went with my friends to watch student of the year , which was highly waited, promoted.and expected.

 Student fo the year  starring three new comers alia , sid and varun

 directed by karan johar.  music my vishal- shekhar 

my expectation from this movie was very high, no doubt it was karan johar movie. karan johar is  those kind of directors, who can carry a movie upon  them, these kind of directors are equally popular , as the actors

 but after watching the student of the year, iam highly disappointed with the movie.

movie lacked in many aspect. like direction, story, dialogues , the worst was the editing.

even the choreograph was not so impressive. 

something which saves the movie, was music and excellent cinematography.  I felt, as if movies was made only to introduce the three new comers, than to make a good movie.

the movie starts with a suspense. and.at the end when suspense was revealed , it was not worth waiting for the movie to finish. Rishi kapoor was excellent as gay dean, i felt, as if every side character were, more serious and professional  then the main actors.

almost 180 mins movie i was waiting to see some actual acting..

alia bhatt ,was featured glamourous, with beautiful dresses, and locations, but hardly i see any acting from her, varun was better in expression compare to sid dhawan, 

movie really lack in continuity  and lacked in creating the interest in the movie. unexpected dance, and song were pushing the movie to boring side. unnecessary body show of the actors...no point..not required..

no doubt the story was good, and the way it took shape was depressing.

only when rishi kapoor , come in the movie, movie become interesting, rest it was just pain in the .A**.

this movies is good and entertaining to those who watch this movies without expecting stories lik karan previous movies.
with this movie some where i felt , k some of the k factor is missing ...what u say please reply
